Family Physician/Internist - BC/BE FP or IM Physician to provide full scope primary care in a Community Health Center / Federally Qualified Health Center in Central Washington State. We are looking for physicians who are mission-oriented, and wanting to work with a multi-disciplined health team to get patients the care they need. Our team includes pharmacists, behavioral health counselors, public health nurses, nutritionists, outreach workers, housing specialists, case managers, access (eligibility) specialists, dentists, dental hygienists, and a cadre of support staff. Together, our goal is to create a quality comprehensive system of care that is simple for our patients to navigate. Yakima Neighborhood Health Services (YNHS), founded in 1975, provides over 100,000 visits annually, at four locations, to mostly low income and disadvantaged individuals residing in the Yakima Valley. We also have a special focus to serve the homeless of Yakima County, targeted outreach services, homeless respite care and housing programs. We are accredited by the Joint Commission and were the first CHC in Washington State to achieve Level 3 NCQA Patient Centered Medical Home Recognition. Yakima is a community of over 100,000 people, with over 230,000 living in the rural towns that make up Yakima County. We have four distinct seasons each year, which bring a variety of outdoor activities including skiing, golf, fishing, hiking, rafting, etc. Award winning wineries and cultural events in a growing downtown area give a person the big city feel, but still can enjoy a laid back rural lifestyle. Large urban areas such as Seattle, Spokane and Portland are only a quick drive away. YNHS is an eligible site for state and federal loan repayment programs, and offers competitive salaries and benefits.
